Question: Where can I register for this event?
Answer: You can register using EventBrite’s web application. Watch this How to Register (video) to learn more.
Question: Where can I find a list of this year’s keynote speakers, presentations, workshops and their descriptions?
Our WACC 2020 program / schedule is currently ’under construction’. While you wait for it to go live , please do the following and then, once this schedule and program session descriptions have been published, you’ll be ready to personalize your program!
- Go to https://wacc2020.sched.com
- Review Sched.com’s Guide for Attendees
- Update your profile with your information and photo
- Add the mobile app to your smartphone!
Question: Can I buy a ticket to just one of the two days for this conference?
Answer: Sorry, no discounts or half price tickets are available. The event fee covers conference costs for both days, 40+ workshops and presentations, a personalized online event schedule mobile application that you can print out your own schedule, a conference jacket, continental breakfasts, beverages, and lunch for each day!
Question: Where can I park and how much will it cost?
Answer: Parking is free and a Tacoma Community College (TCC) campus map will be available in Sched and can also be viewed online or downloaded here.
NOTE: TCC will be enjoying Spring Break at the time of our 1.5 day conference, which means campus parking will plentiful for this event.
Question: Is anyone carpooling?
Answer: We don’t have any plans to coordinate carpooling between colleges. Please check-in with your campus eLearning office to see if carpooling has been organized for your campus.
I heard there is going to be a fleece conference jacket. Where do I indicate my size?
Answer: The conference committee is ordering fleece jackets with the INSPIRE! 2020 conference logo. While sizes are not guaranteed, the committee needs your size preferences in order to provide a variety of sizes for attendees to choose from. Please indicate your preferred fleece jacket size when you register.
Question: Will there be WiFi?
Answer: Yes! Login information will be provided during the event.
Question: Is my registration/ticket transferable?
Answer: Yes, if you find you cannot attend, please email our Eventbrite administrator, Sarah Griffith at sgriffith@lowercolumbia.edu, with a subject line of “WACC 2020 Ticket Transfer” to let us know who you’re transferring your registration/ticket to; their full name, their college affiliation, their college role and their best email.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Tickets transferred and/or purchased after March 18th are not guaranteed special dietary requests because the caterer needs a headcount and special requests 2 weeks prior to the event.
Question: What is your refund policy?
Answer: Attendees can receive refunds up to 7 days before the event start date.
Question: Where do I submit my dietary request?
Answer: Please indicate your food allergies and/or other dietary restrictions when you register and we will do our very best to meet your needs.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Event tickets purchased (or transferred to another person) after March 18th are not guaranteed special food requests because our caterer requires a cut-off date to fulfill our event order.

Will there be free canvas conference bags like there were last year? Very handy for keeping all the papers and goodies in.
